Feelings are Facts is the first collaboration between Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson and leading Chinese architect, Ma Yansong. The installation at the Ullens Center for Contemporary Arts in the 798 Arts District in northwest Beijing is a fusion of the predominant styles of both designers. Eliasson is known for his exploration of human perception through carefully manipulated environmental factors such as light, shadow, and fog. Ma’s architectural works stand at the forefront of new experimentation in structural form, refashioning traditional orders of space in pursuit of enhanced interaction with nature and with others.

Their project is specifically designed for the UCCA space, and welcomes visitors to explore a limitless space of fog and color. The exhibition runs from April 4 to June 6, 2010.
