• Senior Architect (Project Design, Project Management, Construction Management)

    MAD Architects Beijing Headquarter office is looking for 8-10 senior architects, who will be assigned to project design, project management, construction management based on candidates’ capabilities and experiences.

     

    Project Design

    1. Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture;

    2. Have at least 10 years of experience, and involved with 3 under construction/completed projects through CD to SD stage in past working experiences(past experiences in museum, library, concert hall, theatre or large scale mix-used projects preferred), please be specifics with your role on those projects in your portfolio;

    3. Expertise in Maya, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD and Rhino at least;

     

    Project Management

    1. Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture;

    2. Have at least 10 years of experience working in a major international architecture firm, have experience in team management related job in recent 5 year;

    3. Expertise in AutoCAD and Rhino at least;

    4. Be highly organized and efficient, able to multi-task through tight deadlines in MAD’s fast-paced environment;

    5. Be a positive motivator and team leader, having well-established leadership and skill sets, have the ability to be a great manager and supervisor.

     

    Construction Management

    1. Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in architecture;

    2. Have at least 10 years of experience working in a major international architecture firm;

    3. Demonstrate strong understanding of building systems and materials;

    4. Expertized in cross-team communication, coordination. Work efficiently and steadily to assure construction process meets high standard, and maximum matches original design intention.

The Senior Architect position will be based in MAD’s growing Los Angeles office. Our current projects include high-rises, mixed-use developments and cultural projects in North America, Europe, and China. The ideal candidate should also be extremely professional, possess strong communication skills, be comfortable attending new client meetings, and be experienced in execution phases, especially in DD and CD. 

    Requirements:

     

    1. Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
    2. Licensed Architect with minimum 7+ years of progressively responsible project management experience working for a major international architecture firm.
    3. Have experience with completed technology campus offices and/or large-scale mixed-use high-rises, from SD to completion.
    4. Demonstrate expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Maxwell, and Adobe Creative Suite.
    5. Assist Project Architect/Director, and be able to direct and coach design teams to ensure overall design quality, scheduling, and execution.

    MAD New York seeking a senior architect / project manager with a minimum of seven years of experience. Relevant experience should include significant project leadership through design and delivery of large-scale commercial (residential, commercial and hospitality) projects with top-tier design firms. Experience with towers is highly preferred. The ideal candidate should be: able to guide the design and delivery process in coordinating execution, especially in DD and CD phases, meticulous and detail oriented, possess strong communication skills, be comfortable attending new client meetings and be experienced with New York City building and zoning codes.     Requirements:

    1. Registered Architect in United States;

    The candidate will be in charge of broadcasting, communicating and marketing of MAD’s design philosophy and project design concept, etc. Bringing MAD communication to a new level with strong passion and great communication skills and experiences.

    1. A strong educational background in PR/communications/marketing or a relevant major (architectural major is mostly desirable)
