• Senior Architect (Project Design, Project Management, Construction Management)

    MAD is looking for 3-5 senior architects, who will be assigned to project design, project management, and construction management based on candidates’ capabilities and experiences.

     

    Project Design

    1. Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture;

    2. Have at least 10 years of experience, and involved with 3 under construction/completed projects through CD to SD stage in past working experiences (past experiences in museum, library, concert hall, theater or large scale mix-used projects is preferred), please be specific with your role on those projects in your portfolio;

    3. Expertise in Maya, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD and Rhino at least;

     

    Project Management

    1. Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture;

    2. Have at least 10 years of experience working in a major international architecture firm, have experience in team management related job in recent 5 year;

    3. Expertise in AutoCAD and Rhino;

    4. Highly organized and efficient, able to multi-task through tight deadlines in MAD’s fast-paced environment;

    5. Be a positive motivator and team leader, having well-established leadership and skill sets, have the ability to be a great manager and supervisor.

     

    Construction Management

    1. Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in architecture;

    2. Have at least 10 years of experience working in a major international architecture firm;

    3. Demonstrate strong understanding of building systems and materials;

    4. Expertise in cross-team communication, coordination. Work efficiently and steadily to assure construction process meets high standard, and matches original design intention.

  • Renderer

    MAD is looking for 2-3 renderers.

     

    The ideal candidate should:

    1. Have good taste and visual aesthetics, strong understanding of the MAD project’s design expression and intention. Great ability to capture and carve the expression in composition, light and shadow, building, material and color with high quality;
    2. At least 3 years related working experience, expertise in Rhino/Maxwell, 3D Max/V-ray, Photoshop, AI and etc. Candidates with AE skill are preferred;
    3. Highly organized and efficient, able to multi-task through tight deadlines in MAD’s fast-paced environment;
    4. Major in Architecture, Art, Film or Animation is preferred;

  • Senior PR Strategist
    Beijing, China

    Senior PR strategist is working together with principal partners on making strategy and planning for MAD Architects communication plan, lead the team and break down on objectives, actions, then deliver results in these following fields: media relation, press releases, publication, exhibition and other external collaboration. It also includes management of current MAD social media or any online media channel.

     

    Applicants must demonstrate the following qualities:

     

    1. Architecture major is preferred, or a minimum of four years’ experience in Press/Communication in major international architecture firms or a relevant profession with professional experience in art promotion will be preferred;
    2. Strong background and experiences in PR/Communications/Marketing or a relevant design profession with professional experience in communications;
    3. Fluent in spoken and written English, native speaker preferred. With experience working/studying internationally;
    4. Confident, professional attitude with strong verbal and written communication skills, great networking skills and also appropriate self-presentation. (familiarity with publication production or graphic design would be an advantage);

    MAD Architects’ Beijing office is recruiting enthusiastic communication talents (architectural major is desirable) to join our team, to work hand in hand with the project architects and principal partners.

    The candidate will be in charge of broadcasting, communicating and marketing of MAD’s design philosophy and project design concept, etc. Bringing MAD communication to a new level with strong passion and great communication skills and experiences.

     

    Applicants must demonstrate the following qualities:

    1. A strong educational background in PR/communications/marketing or a relevant major (architectural major is mostly desirable)
    2. A minimum of five years’ experience in press/communication in major international architecture firm or a relevant profession with professional experience in art/design promotion

  • Architecture Intern

    We are seeking talented Architectural Intern with a passion for design. This position will be based in MAD’s Beijing office. The position requires you to work with an experienced team in all phases of design on a variety projects, and offers the opportunity to learn, practice and grow with the firm under the supervision of project lead architects, senior architects, associates and principals. This internship requires 6 months as minimum duration, the candidate with outstanding performance during the internship will have the opportunity to be promoted as regular employee.
    The ideal candidate should:

    1. Graduate student (2nd year or above) and fresh graduate with master degree;
    2. Great understanding, strong passion and curiosity in art and design, great taste is essential;
    3. Possess very strong design abilities; preferably candidates who has worked in Architectural offices before;
    4. Experience with producing SD drawings sets;
    5. Must know and be very familiar with software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Maya and/or Grasshopper. Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign;
