    MAD Architects’ Beijing office is recruiting enthusiastic communication talents (architectural major is desirable) to join our team, to work hand in hand with the project architects and principal partners.

    The candidate will be in charge of broadcasting, communicating and marketing of MAD’s design philosophy and project design concept, etc. Bringing MAD communication to a new level with strong passion and great communication skills and experiences.

     

    Applicants must demonstrate the following qualities:

    1. A strong educational background in PR/communications/marketing or a relevant major (architectural major is mostly desirable)
    2. A minimum of five years’ experience in press/communication in major international architecture firm or a relevant profession with professional experience in art/design promotion
    3. Understanding the core function of an architecture firm, and major communication functions, have knowledge of architectural design, and architectural project in different stages

    MAD is seeking a talented Architecture / Business Development Intern for its LA office. This position offers the opportunity to learn, practice, and grow with the firm, with experience in both architecture design and business development. Responsibilities will include: research, preparation of architecture &/ BD collateral, and outreach to potential clients & collaborators. The ideal candidate should be extremely professional, have strong communication skills, and be familiar with architecture and development trends in the US and Canada. This is a paid internship.

    Requirements:

    1. Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Business, or a relevant field. Master’s degree preferred.
    2. Familiarity with architecture and real estate development trends in the US and Canada.
    3. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Microsoft Office.

  • Intermediate Architect/ Fluent in DP
    Beijing, China

    MAD Architects Beijing headquarters office is currently recruiting a Intermediate Architect/ Fluent in DP with at least four years’ experience, who is extremely familiar and efficient with Digital Project System, for it is one of the most important cultural projects in design progress.

    The applicants shall:

    1. Expertise in DP, AutoCAD and RHINO at least;
    2. Possess a bachelor’s or higher degree in architecture;
    3. Have minimum four – six years’ of experience;
    4. Strong understanding of design and technical specifics;
    5. At least involved with two under construction/completed cultural projects in past working experiences, please be specifics with your role on those projects in your portfolio;

    We are seeking senior architects with a minimum of 7-10 + years’ experience in major international architecture firms who have participated in and completed large-scale Museum or Culture projects. The senior architect positions will be based in MAD’s Los Angeles office. Our current projects include high-rises, mixed-use developments and cultural projects in North America, Europe, and China. The ideal candidate should also be extremely professional, possess strong communication skills, be comfortable attending any client meetings, and be experienced in execution phases, especially in DD and CD.

    Requirements:

    1. Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture;
    2. Have minimum 7 years of experience, especially those that have participated and completed large scale Museum and Culture projects at top tier international design firms;
    3. Need to be Licensed in CA;
    4. Has expertise in AutoCAD, Rhino, Maxwell, and Adobe Creative Suite;

    We are seeking a senior architect / project manager with a minimum of seven years of experience. Relevant experience should include significant project leadership through design and delivery of large-scale commercial (residential, commercial and hospitality) projects with top-tier design firms. Experience with towers is highly preferred. The ideal candidate should be: able to guide the design and delivery process in coordinating execution, especially in DD and CD phases, meticulous and detail oriented, possess strong communication skills, be comfortable attending new client meetings and be experienced with New York City building and zoning codes. This position will be based in MAD’s newly established New York office. This is an opportunity for candidates interested in a leadership role.

    Requirements:

    1. Registered Architect in United States;
    2. Minimum seven years of experience, preferably in the design and delivery of large scale projects at a top- tier int ernational design firm;
    3. Experience in project design and documentation from programming, design, documentation and CA on large- scale projects – residential, hospitality, and commercial. Experience in NY is preferred;
    4. Work collaboratively with NY office staff and other offices;
    5. Compile materials associated with Project such as material samples and specifications;
    6. Excellent design and visualization skills, especially in digital and 3D modeling programs;
