  • Senior Architect

    The opportunity for you:

     

    You will be involved in the design, architectural and technical aspects as well as parts of the overall project management through the entire design process from concept to constructed reality.

    You will develop, represent and communicate project packages internally and externally with clarity, design sensitivity, and a sound understanding of technical feasibility.

    You will be offered the opportunity to take on a key role in the design and project development within MAD.

    You combine strong aesthetic design sensitivity with thorough technical knowledge and managerial experience, and are a clear and precise communicator.

    You bring extensive expertise in construction drawing and detailing, are well versed in building systems and materials, and demonstrate a profound knowledge of practice and industry standards and codes.

    You thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, enjoy imparting your knowledge and contributing to multiple teams, and have exemplary time management and delivery skills.

    You are skilled in AutoCAD, and possess working knowledge of Rhino, ideally also of Maya. You are fluent in English, with business level Mandarin and other business level language skills a plus.

     

    -Senior Technical Architect

    You will introduce and communicate innovative technical design solutions internally and externally with clarity, design sensitivity, and a sound understanding of applicability, and develop them into details fit for construction.

    You are a globally-minded individual with an excellent academic background (Bachelor in Landscape Architecture / Landscape design or a related field of study from an internationally recognized school) and an outgoing, proactive and positive attitude.

    You have a track record of at least 2 years in-depth post-qualification involvement in leading international architecture or landscape design firms, as a key contributor to the landscape design of complex large-scale mixed-use, cultural, civic or sports projects through all stages of design to construction.

    You combine strong aesthetic design sensitivity with technical awareness, and are a clear communicator.

    You articulate your ideas and concepts precisely, comprehensibly, and in a graphically engaging way.

    You demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of plants and planting design, including landform design, hardscape, and water features, as well as relevant practice and industry standards and codes.

    You have sound knowledge of architectural and landscape drawing and detailing. You are proficient in the preparation of landscape surveys and environmental impact assessments based on proposed designs.

    You combine strong aesthetic design sensitivity with sound technical and materials knowledge, and are a clear communicator. You are able to compile thorough research packages for concepts, materials and products, and are able to articulate your ideas and results precisely, comprehensibly, and in a graphically engaging way.

    You have working knowledge of interior design layouts and detailing, are well versed in current materials and FF+E trends, and demonstrate clear understanding of common practice and industry standards and codes.

    You already have gained basic experience working in a design-led architecture firm, with a developer, or in a construction-related profession.

    You combine strong aesthetic design sensitivity with an understanding of architectural production, and are a clear communicator. You articulate your tasks and concepts precisely, comprehensibly, and in a graphically engaging way.

    You have working knowledge of concept and schematic architectural drawing, and demonstrate basic understanding of building systems and materials as well as practice and industry standards and codes.
