Ma Yansong to Speak at Davos World Economic Forum on “Foundations For Thriving Urban Societies”

MAD Architects founder Ma Yansong (FRIBA), recognized as an important voice in a new generation of architects and the architect behind the award winning ‘Absolute Towers’ in Mississauga, Canada will partake in a discussion on “Building CapaCity - How are architects creating the foundations for thriving urban societies?” at a plenary session of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on 26 January 2013.

Ma Yansong will join moderator President and CEO of the J. Paul Getty Trust in a plenary discussion from 10:15 – 11.15 a.m. The discussion will also include Theaster Gates, Artist and Director of the Arts and Public Life Initiative from The University of Chicago and Jonathan Reckford, CEO of Habitat for Humanity.
